St Andrews is widely regarded as the birthplace of golf, with the game first played on the town’s links in the 15th century.
Since then, St Andrews has become synonymous with golf, attracting players and enthusiasts from around the world to experience its world-class courses and rich history.
The town itself is home to the iconic Old Course, which has hosted the Open Championship 29 times, making it one of the most famous and revered golf courses in the world. The New Course, Jubilee Course, and Castle Course offer their own unique challenges and stunning views of the Scottish coastline.
Beyond St Andrews, the local area is dotted with equally impressive courses, such as the Kingsbarns Links, which has quickly risen to become one of Scotland’s premier golf courses, co-hosting annually, the Alfred Dunhill Links Championship. The new kid on the scene, is the award-winning Dumbarnie Links, an exciting and beautiful links, opened in 2020
